Here is a quick pic from me of Maya in the hospital visiting her new baby cousin! No pics yet of her with the baby, those are coming on Wednesday, we are doing a photoshoot. Im still kinda afraid to let her near the baby cuz shes a bit of a bully LOL. So here she is messing with those plastic bin thingys that hold the babies at the hospital. Typical Maya. =)

Okay, now to catch up lol. I have been SO busy lately!! Ive been taking pics, just not posting them on time. Okay, so for some news today…. My little brother and his girlfriend had their baby today!!! Shes SO tiny!! Seeing here there, made me have so many flashbacks to when I had Maya!

I took this picture after work. It was the first time that I had seen Maya riding her rocking horse. She got this horse at her baby shower, and hadn’t really ever shown any interest in it. Then, today, she pulled it out from the corner of her playroom, and started rocking on it as fast as she could! I really thought that she was going to tip over.

My little mommy! Maya is always so busy feeding her babies, changing them, putting socks on their feet, putting them to sleep, taking socks off their feet, pushing them around in their strollers, (yes strollerS lol), having tea parties, and so much more! This baby is one that we got her for Christmas, and is one of her favorites. My friend Carolina got her a similar one that came with a carseat, and blonde hair and it looks like this one, so we call them her twins. Its just so funny to see such maternal instincts in such a small little girl.  Anyways… Keep it up girls, I LOVE checking to see what gorgeous pics you come up with every day!!!

I have been REALLY busy lately, and have been trouble taking pics every day, so im sorry if they are getting boring lol. I took this one on my way out the door for work this morning, while Maya was watching her morning cartoons! 

So today we went to Rafa’s soccer game, and Maya got to play with her uncles and her friends. She loved kicking the ball around, but was kinda whiny because I wasnt letting her play on the stairs. Here she is walking around pouting lol. I just love her in this little outfit. When she was younger, she used to scream if I put her in a tutu, but now she LOVES them!! I tell her how pretty she looks and she will start to twirl around! lol. This one was a bit too big for being 2T, but she still loves it, and I do too =)

Okay so today was Sophia’s birthday, and Maya had so much fun!  She was so hyper and all over the place, and the lighting in there was TERRIBLE, so I just didnt get any good pics of Maya. BUT, on the bright side, I got this pic of her cousin Anthony. Isnt he too cute?!

After getting off work, and going to pick up Maya, when we got home we were both so exhausted, we took an afternoon nap! She looks so gorgeous when she is sleeping, I just couldnt stop looking at her, and knew this was my moment for the day.

Today was just another average day… Thursdays are my longest day at work, so me and Maya just watched tv a bit while we played in her room. She sings and dances along with the theme songs, and mimics what they are doing. I shot this in her room, and played around with it a bit in CS3, my lightroom trial ended, and I dont really know how to live without it yet lol. I have the code for lightroom 1.4, but since my computer had to get a new hard drive, I lost it, and you cant dowload the older versions anymore at adobe. Ill probly just have to pay to upgrade to 2.1. Anyways…here is my attempt at completely editing in CS3. Thank you all for your wonderful comments, I can’t wait to see all your beautiful photos!! =)

Today was a bit uneventful, we had a district meeting-type thing at work, nice break from the kids but not very exciting, lol. I went and picked up my brother to give him a break from unpacking. He played with Maya while I went online for school, and made dinner. After dinner I gave Maya a bath, and decided to take my pictures for the day. It was the first time she had a bubble bath, and she really didnt know what to think about the bubbles. She kept trying to wash them off her hands, and ended up getting more on them, and kept saying “uh oh….” lol! I got a bunch of great pics, but for today I just could not choose between these two photos. So… for today here are my photo(s). =)

Okay now I need to admit 5 things im addicted to….

1) Seeing my baby Maya, I miss her even while shes sleeping =)

2) Coffee. Ive tried to quit, but I just cant do it.

3) Lightroom. I cant live without it. Well, I cant live without photoshop, so I guess they go hand in hand.

4) Home Decor. I dont know why but its an obsession. I LOVE Home Goods, its my favorite store in the world, except for Target. =) Target gets half my paychecks every month, lol. You probably have notice most of her clothes are from the Target line. =)

5) My camera. It goes everywhere with me. One day when I have money I will get the 5d, maybe it will be my graduation present for myself =) or income tax next year lol.
